Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Re-use turbo oil drain gasket?

I am wondering if I really need to remove the old and replace it with a new one. Anyone have experience just leaving the old gasket on and bolting it back up?

Yes I have done it and had pretty good luck with it not leaking. Just make sure it seats evenly as you're torquing up the bolts.

If you have problems and / or decide you want a better drain plug;

I have tried all of the replacement drain plugs available and found that Geno's Garage EZ-DP-22MMPL0DG, to the best available. Easy and fast and well made.

Wrong drain. He is talking about the gasket on the turbo drain tube, but that is a nice oil pan drain plug you are talking about.
