Since I stacked a TST with my EZ (TST 3/3 EZ 2) I have had the little yellow engine figure illuminate an my instrument panel. I understand that this is a code and I need to find out what it is. I am reluctant to take it to the Dealer, is there a neutral party that would read this code for me? I was able to clear the code by disconnecting my batteries but, I really want to know whats causing this so I can correct the PROBLEM! The truck runs and shifts great :) . I guess if I have to I can remove the fuel boxes and take to the Dealer. any comments? Thanks.

The neutral party would be you. Turn you key from the off position on and off ending on the on position three times (with out cranking the engine over) and you'll see what code is making that check engine light come on. Then look at this link HERE to see what the code was for.

Thank You Clayton :D ! The code shows as a P0336 crank shaft position sensor performance. I will reconnect my crank shaft positioning sensor and make sure the connection is solid. If that does not do the trick I will talk to Mark@TST. Will the code go away once the problem is corrected or will it leave a permanent imprint?

That code P0336 is noted on the FAQ on TST website, pretty much says to ignore it. I have thrown it a couple of times. Mainly when I get into it from low mph quickly and have to back out quickly also. Get a generic OBDII scanner or BullyDog Downloader and you can easily clear it and other trouble codes yourself. Autozone use to do this for free, don't know if they still do or not.

The CEL should go out on its own if the condition no longer exists. A number of start runs(4 or so) should make the CEL go out. The code itself should clear also on its own, it will just take a lot longer.

I had the same code thrown. I removed the box and the light went out after four starts. However, the code is still visible (with the ignition method) after 60 starts. I plan on waiting until the code is gone in before I hook up the box again.

Thanks for all the info, this is exactly why I will always renew my membership to TDR. You take a problem I've been stressing about and pretty much eliminate it.
