ok thought every one might like to hear this i while back a guy came in our feed store for a bale of hay ok wright the tag and go out to load it he backs in the barn w/ a beat up old 1st gen thats smoking a little ok kool im thinking well i start talking to the guy and he says he put a turbo off a pete and a head that has dual injectors which threw me off i did not have time to ask him to pop the hood so i could look and i just took him at his word not wanting to argue but im wondering first has anyone ever heard of something like this and 2 might it be possible i think hes just talking and that its not real but still thought it was interesting at least it would be for the pullers if you could flow enough fuel for them anyways tell me what ya'll think oh btw he said he was getting 26mpg w/ this setup also talk i think

Being he said the head and turbo are off a semi, I'd say he's bluffing. An engine such as a 3406 or an N14 is physically much larger than our little 5. 9. There is no way he could possibly make it work. I suppose there could be a way to do a head for dual injectors, but I would think the price would be astronomical, especially if you're doing all this to a farm pickup.

yeah seeing is beliveing but really i don't know if a ve pump would flow engouh fuel to support 12 injectors and besides thats so much fuel in the cyl it should have been smoking alot more since it and a big non intercooled turbo im guessing the turbo was a 55 or 60 but yeah i wish i had had time to look at it
