Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Reading codes

On my brothers 2002 CTD, if we do the key trick to read the codes, it says "done" then flashes "P ECU" is this another code we don't know of? My 2006 does not flash these letters, and I can't find it on any other code lists. Thanks.

i think there is a list of the codes in the faq section . done means no codes and pecu is the engine control unit i think im sure somebody will correcet me if im wrong but sa long as you dont have any 4 didgit codes show you shouls be fine. i have heard that this key cycling does not always bring the codes up but it always has for me i also read and clear mine with my hypertech power programmer hope this helps some
