Jacobs brake now available for 2006 RAM

High altitude boost #s

I'd sell my Honda 5Kw to get that thing. It doesn't look like it's available yet for the Dodge. Any idea what it costs, installed? (No do it yourself option  )

I wish someone would make an alternator replacement that simply fits in place of the stock one and includes a 240v A/C generator. I believe there's plenty of room for expansion there under the hood (unless you have Kilby's onboard air).

Also, the "Real Power" unit is only 12kW. I'd rather have 48kW with a continuous rating of at least 150 amp at 240 volts. Maybe I'm asking too much... but I always try to think big! ;)

One other thing: I thought PTO ports were standardized. The NV5600 has 2 standard 6-bolt PTO ports, so any 6-bolt PTO accessory will bolt up to it. . no? If so, then why wouldn't any of the ones at Real Power bolt onto our trucks? I guess there could be clearance issues depending on other things that are in the way...

I talked to real power about their set up. At the time (May) their SoCAl dealer was installing one in a 01 Dodge 2500 4x4 HO. Just what I have. The cost was 5200 and they will not sell kits to install yourself. I have been thinking about converting a tractor pto driven genset driven off the transmission.
