Pretty much like it says, I'm thinking about putting one in w/ pyro and boost. I had one in my '04, just because I'm old school thinking, and I doesn't get much more accurate, so what are your opinions?

Test, Yeah, I understand about not running a live line in the cab, but i did it i my 04. 5. Talked it over w/a couple fellers, insulated the tubing, it has the brass ferrules to secure it, worked well for over a year and a half. Kind of wondering if this is good or bad( in cab lines),also wondering about necessity vs a pyro for example.

Redfuel, No danin doesn't make an O. P. gauge, don't know how come there isn't enough demand for them.

when i eventually get my gauges sorted out, i will have hopefully a mechanical lube oil pressure gauge, but i will use an isolator to keep lube oil [and fuel oil] out of the cab

DiPricol doesn't make a specific gauge in the Optix series that is labeled oil pressure. However, a 0-100 psi fuel pressure gauge will work just fine for measuring oil pressure if you don't mind the label being incorrect.

DiPricol does/did make an oil pressure gauge in the older style (non-LED), but it was before the Optix series came along. DieselManor still had one a couple weeks ago on clearance for about $30 I think. --Eric
