You know how the 1157 LED bulbs used to be like $50? superbrightleds.com has them for $7 and under. They have the T3 wedge bulbs too for like a buck fifty. Just thought I'd share. Now you can outfit the whole truck for under $40.

They still draw low current so you will get the rapid flash. Did anyone ever figure out how to stop this? Can you simply change out the flasher module for one designed for low current?

i tried LED's from stylin comcepts and sent them back... the design of the bulbs is NOT conducive to the reflectors and they don't shine all that well, Tim

Yeah I have a fix for the fast blinker... ... .....

Since the leds draw less current & the flasher speed is depicted by the current drawn, you need to add a resistor in pararell with the leds to draw more current to fool the blinker. I ordered I believe either 5 or 10 ohm 25 watt resistors from radioshack online. I wasnt sure on the ohm rattings so I order a few, but ended up using the largest resistor out of the order. It was trial by error till the flasher saw enough current draw.

It is important to use a 25 watt resistor when using a low ohm resistor. It is easily figured out with ohm's law.

I am sure that was confusing, but feel free to ask away, & I am sure I can provide better info if u need it.
