What's a 2wd CTD to do to get a grip on the track?



It appears my '06 has an open differential. How do I discern which rearend is in this truck? From reading thru the forums, it looks like it should be either a 10. 5" or 11. 5", but how do we know from the outside?



Is there a way to ID it from the VIN or some other number that can be found?



Are there other options besides installing a factory LSD, or, replacing the entire rearend assembly, or, waiting until "sometime in '07" when ARB releases the air locker for these trucks?

Show the dealer the VIN, and they should be able to show you a copy of the build sheet. There may also be a sticker on/in the truck to tell you if you have a LSD or not, and which gears. I know my '97 does on the underside of the hood. Think some of the later ones had them in the glovebox.
