2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Rear Axle oil seal tool

I am trying to replace the rear axle seals which are weeping gear oil.



I seem to be unable to find the correct socket.



Can anyone tell me the size of the correct socket/wrench or if I need to get a special tool?

You need a 2-9/16" rounded hex socket like this

Quad 4x4 has them Part #QT1009 Dodge Tools . I picked one up at Napa Auto Parts.

Yep. Call around... you'll go broke driving around trying to find a shop that carries these.



2 9/16 rounded corner thin wall socket.
