Is the oem seal the best one to use?

If you are talking about the inner seal, Napa has them and I compared them to the OEM and they seemed to be exactly the same. Same color and all so I bought the NAPA one. On the otherhand, the outer gasket, NAPA didn't have one so I bought the OEM one. not bad price for those... Like $7 each

I personally like National brand seals the best. I'm sure Napa has a lot of good seals but I have compared some that were for the same application and the Napa ones were no good at all. Carquest sells National seals in a Carquest labeled box. I think most of the seals on these trucks are CR (Chicago Rawhide), which is the brand Napa sells. - Mark -
