Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Rear Bench Seat

I've been looking at sound deadining fix for the rear of the quad cab since there is no insulation back there, but i cant figure out how to remove teh rear seat. the seat back really. am i not looking hard enough? any input appreciated.

I took mine out by removing two bolts on each side of the bottom with the seat raised. The back has two hooks that slide onto slots -- just raise up to remove - the bottom and back are one unit if I remember right, it's been a long time, but wasn't difficult

thanks i wasnt sure about the seat back mostly, didnt want to tear into it and brake something. thanks good info.

I had mine out to remove the carseat tiedowns behind the seatback.
