To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Would like to dim my gauges a little.

Sorry for a repetative post, on my blackberry and can't search.

The rear blocks, do most place the blocks on top of the springs, under the spring plate... to eleviate buying new bolts?

Any concern with the shorter pack on top of the spring causing issues?? They will be significantly shorter than the spring plates...

I may do this soon, should exactly level the truck and make it better for the 5th wheel...

IIRC the threads on the U-bolts are long enough that you could probably remove the blocks all together and be fine.

I was fondling them, and it felt like they would come up short? Maybe a couple heavy washers would make up the difference? I would rather not use the spacers between the spring and spring plate if I can help it... seems like a good point for added leverage to promote spring breakage.

I'm really considering this mod for this weekend (if I can break the bolts loose)...

Remember removing the blocks will change the shock mount distance. You might want to measure and be sure the shock don't bottom before the axle is stopped by the bump stops.

I have airbags, so I will still be able to maintain level even loaded.

I was looking, I will have about an eighth inch of thread left on the bolts...
