I know how the adjuster's work, but just wondering if i kept turning the adjuster till it stopped and then backing off 4 or 5 clicks sounded about right???? When i spin the wheels, i can't tell if the brakes dragging or not (no sound) and since i have limited slip, it's already hard to turn them as it is, so i really don't get any "feeling" feedback.

I just did mine. I raised the whole back end of the truck, so you can spin. My adjusters won't go backwards, so you have to be careful to click, spin & listen. :)

The adjusters WILL go both directions. To loosen the brakes you need to use a thin screwdriver to push the adjusting lever out of the star wheel at the same time you back off the star wheel.

Get a flashlight and look through the hole in the backing plate.

Vaman--yes, they're plugged with rubber plugs, orange in my case--if I remember correctly it's the lowest plug in the middle(center)---chris
