I've developed a squeak from the right rear brake that goes away when the brake pedal is stepped on. Any suggestions as what to look at? Thanks.

Check to see if you have wear sounders on the rear pads. It is a small metal tab that is located on the outside pad and will rub the disk as pad wear deteriorates. If there is still life ( 20%) bend tab away from disk slightly and keep in mind that a brake job is soon to arrive.

2 things to add....

1. I just realized it is the left rear... I assume (I know I'm setting myself up using that word) that won't make a difference?

2. The truck wasn't used for about a month or so this past winter with the parking brake on. Would the cold temperatures with the parking brake on have an adverse effect?
