does anyone know if the rear brakes (drums) on my 96 2500 4x4 ctd is interchangeable with a 96 3500 ctd 4x4?

2500=13" * 2. 5"

3500=13" * 3. 5"

basically can i go out and get rear brake shoes for a 96 3500 and put them on my 96 2500. i read in this months tdr something to that affect is recommended for towing.

Not quite yet, you'll need the backing plates, hardware and larger wheel cylinders at a minimum.
