Okay as some of you know i been working on a few things to get my 92 inspected, had the rear brakes checked yesterday as i didn't have a axle socket for the 2 9/16 nut... drivers side was all boogered up, had them to fix the emergency brake cable as the clip was missing so they are both hooked up now but still no hold, so my question is this? Stretched cable? and i think its the one that runs from the emergency brake pedal under the dash back, am i right on this cause the others when pulled work great and since the left side being unhooked it can't be stretched

It's my experience that the brakes are out of adjustment, there is a problem with the connection between the arm and the brake shoe(s) or the cables (rear cables) are not working properly ie nearly stuck or sticking, even if you can pull on them. It's true. Just because they move manually don't mean they are traveling properly.

You have adjusted the park brake link right? You can push the pedle down about half way and it's pulling the cables tight?
