The ones on mine that are broken are the wires going into the top of the rear axle.
I have been in one 91. 5 W250 when the anti lock kicked in. It didn't pulsate the pedal or anything like that. It just droped it to the floor and we gained speed till my brother-in-law hit the pedal agin. I do not want mine working if it acts like that.
I have had one case of having to climb all over the brakes. I was going threw the MO state. I had a trailer on behind me. Trailer and car tiped the scales at 7k to 8k range. I hit the top of a hill and wouldn't you know just over the top was a long parking lot.
I came down from 75 mph to 0 in 200 or so feet. The van behind me couldn't stop as fast as I did. He ran into the median. I stoped 2 feet from the back of a car.
