2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Rear bumper upgrade

Like an idiot, I backed into a concrete based light pole over the weekend. While I didn't think I hit it that hard, it turned the bumper into a pretzel on that side. As it bent, it crumpled the lower rear corner of the bed sheet metal. I am amazed at everything that was effected including the tailgate pivot!



I haven't gotten an estimate on the body work yet, but I was considering upgrading to a stronger bumper to protect the sheet metal better just in case it happens again. Anyone have any suggestions or comments on what they have used or what didn't work?

I like the Fab Fours rear bumper, its what I based mine on when I built it. Just depends how much you want to spend.
