Any conections for rear bumbers, custom, or otherwise? Had a girl mistake the rear end of my 95 for a high speed stopping device. . My reciever hitch took the brunt of the hit, but the bumper was bent and rolled on the left side. Stock bumpers cost 385 new, might as well get a nice heavy one for that price. . I will have to replace my #5 reciever hitch also. Should see what the Honda looked like after the hit! It did push my pickup forward two foot!

I've got a Reunel bumper for sale. Its got the bolt-on receiver, PIAA backups (those may need to be replaced) and its painted black.

Only issue is that its been modified to fir a 3" body lift, so the brackets have been dropped 2-3/4". If you can fab, its easy enough to make new brackets.

$400 plus shipping which you would need to arrange. I can figure out how to get it in a crate or on a pallet

No thanks

Thanks for the offer, but I need at least a 12000# class five for my pullin chores. .

Checked it out..

its cool. however, the Reunel site lists their bolt-on receiver as a 15,000lb unit but does not list the Class. Their weld-on version is listed as Class 5 20,000lb

Checked out their site after your post. I'll do some more research and let you know, they are a heavy duty bumper...

just want to be clear that its built for a 3" body lift and will need to be modified to work on a regular truck. its off my 97 1500 but should be the same (though if you need to mod the brackets, you can easily make it fir your frame).

It's been sitting in my garage for a year now, ever since I built a flat bed for my trail rig, hence the cheap price. I need it gone.

The Reunel bamper are REALLY well built, though they sometimes have problems with their paint. If it is in good conditon, $400 is a more then fair price. I paid $1250 for mine, though it is th polished SS version and I added some custom shackles and trailer pugs. My welded on hitch is integral to the bumper and is rated at 20,000#.

Mine was bead blasted and painted with industrial grade paint (my FIL does ind. painting for a living). The bumper is in great shape, sans the scratches on the bottom edge from being offroad. Its been rattle canned to stop/prevent surface rust. The setup I have is $850 new.

FYI I tried to purchase a road armor bumper last year after a cabbie pulled in front of me. They promised me and the body shop two week delivery, at that time they were shipping out of oregon I'm in seattle well after three months and several excuses later well our welder quit it's almost finished the next week it's stuck on I-5 due to flooding the next week well construction in the northwest is booming we can not get metal... uh I'm in construction it's not that hard and those were the excuses in order along with several others How does it get from on a semi on the freeway to the following week not being built? Oh yea they had me pay up front, it took the body shop owner threatening to get a lawyer involved. Call Fab-fours... they are on the other side of the country heard my dilemma and promised two weeks also... said if it wasn't there to call back and let them know asap... well it showed up early and fits way better then a road armor which I have installed one back in 03 on a buddy's. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ROAD ARMOR A F ING JOKE I DO NOT SEE HOW THEY CAN STILL BE IN BUSNESS

Oh, how F'ing interesting. I ordered the Road Armor bumpers front and rear on 12. 10. 08. Yes, they charged my credit card the night that I ordered them and I still have not recieved a tracking number. I have made several phone calls and emails and have recieved nothing but the run around.

I think that I am going to begin the **** detail tomorrow. The more I read about these swindlers the more I think that I made a mistake.

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH ROAD ARMOR. THEY ARE THIEVES.

Another note... . Have you ever noticed the ad for alien patrol bumpers? They look awful similar to road armor I believe I've heard that the guy who started road armor sold and has kept the rights for those bumpers that is why they are identical... also I do not remember but the is one or two more company's with the identical bumpers he has some kind of involvement on those also... good luck do not buy into any of there bs i believe they rob Peter to pay Paul that is why they come up with sooooo many EXPLINATIONS

Finally got a tracking number today and the bumpers are supposedly on their way from Illinois.

I sincerely hope that I get the right stuff and they fit. I have been through hell with these morons and would never spend another penny for the BS that they have put me through. Their Customer Service is non existant and their profesionalism if a GD joke.

I would never recommend them to anyone. When I get the damn things installed I am going to letter them with " Don't buy Road Armor! Ask me Why. " and I will post the pics here.

Now, who wants to know how I really feel?

:-laf Hey CF-- I have a bumper with a big ol' NObama sticker, and I was thinking it would go great on your truck!!:-laf :-laf :-laf

Check out Brown's Welding down here in New Braunfels, Texas. . They still make bumpers by hand, not by machine. .

Naw

I went back with an OEM and a 12K hidden hitch. Had to get another "Go Obama" sticker, hard to find anymore, since I have been putting them on redneck truck bumpers for the past year!:D
