I need to change the rear diff. fluid in my 2500 4x4 and was wondering what type of Amsoil to use in the rear differential. How do I know if I have a limited slip differential? Will I need to use the additive if I have the limited slip or do I even need one with the Amsoil? I don't tow anything yet, but my driving probably falls under the schedule "B" severe service intervals. Thanks.

The code for limited slip is DSA so look for that on the data tag. If you are going to use Amsoil go with the series 2000 in 75/140. you won't need to add any friction modifier with the Amsoil 75/140... ... . Pete

So I take it that I can use either grade of oil as long as they meet the GL-5 requirement in the owner's manual ( I think that's what it said... I'll have to check). Thanks for the info.
