Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) rear diff

can someone tell me how many quarts of oil my rear axle takes? its a 4. 10 limited slip on a 96 ctd 4x4.

it says the axle requires 80w90 but i will go with 75w140.

Don't make the mistake that many do and fill the diff to the bottom of the fill hole, read your owner's manual where it says 1/2" below the bottom of the hole. Nine out of ten leaking seals I've come across have had overfilled diffs. Many stop leaking when enough has leaked out to reach the correct level.
