Rear Disc Brake Kits?

Does anyone know of a vendor that is producing rear disc brake kits for Second Generation Ram 2500s? This may be a dumb question, but shucks, I ask them all the time!

The kit replaces drums, shoes, backing plates and hardware. With Calipers, Vented Rotors, Hoses extension, Adjustable proportioning valve and all hardware and brackets etc. To fit Single Rear Wheel Truck only

REAR DISC BRAKES.

I have a friend who has the rotors,calipers,caliper brackets from a DANA 80. The parts were from a "FERD" axle they may interchange. If interested let me know.

My Ram uses the hybrid Dana 80, in which the axles are necked down at the ends to fit the Dana 70 back plates. Thanks, though.

MATT: I changed my 1999 rear cylinders from the original 15/16 in diameter cyl. to a 1 1/8 in. cylinder, for less than $50. 00. It made a great difference in stoping power and is easy to do. If your 96 model has the same size cylinders, try it, youll like it.

I have the retro kit from Al at Maximum Diesel. It took more then we origionally thought to get the kit on. Email me if you have questions. I believe I still have some air in my system so the pedal quality isn't just right yet.

Why pay $2000? Piers Diesel does rear disc conversions...

Does anyone know if Wilwood or some other aftermarket supplier makes calipers for our trucks. I already have 4W-discs, but I never have liked the floating caliper design on anything. I would like something with two or four pistons.

I plan on having Al (Piers Diesel) do the rear disc conversion on my 2001 the next time I get down there!! Also an ARB locker in the rear.

Having watched him install the SBC clutch and other goodies, I have great confidence in his work. And you can't find a nicer group of people!!!!
