Rear Door will not stay shut

I have a 2003 2500 Quad Cab.

Yesterday I closed the left rear door and it bounced right open. Tried it a few more times, it will not catch and stay closed. I manually moved the locking piece that grabs the striker on the door column. It moves right to the locked position, but with a screw driver I can pull it right to the open position without touching the inside or outside door handle.

Anyone have experience with a problem like this ? How do you remove the door panel without damage ?

To remove the rear door panel, remove the 10 MM bolt that secures handle, pull off the handle and then remove the single screw in the middle of the panel.
Now you can lift the panel upwards and away enough to unplug the power window switch (if equipped).

Sorry, cant help with the latch.
