I have learned that on my 02 3500 diesel 4x4 6speed that my rear gear

ratio is a 3:55. pulling a 15,000# 5th wheel is a edge ez going to give me added towing help i need?

Yes it will. The Edge EZ is good for about 40 extra hp. Some will say go for more than the EZ but that choice is yours. I have had mine for about 7 years and been very happy with it. Have you checked out the SMARTY Mads Electronics - Smarty - CaTCHER - Dodge Tuning - Home, if not give it a look you might like what it provides over the EZ

Also if you don't have any guages I would suggest gettin some. Fuel pressure guages are a must have plus boost and EGT. Fill out your trucks signature as well to better help later with other issues that may arise.

I would ask what kinda help does your truck need?

An Edge EZ will give you a slight mileage and power increase. But if you are suffering from high water temps or just can't pull the gear, you may have to make a change.

And that all depends on how you use your truck. If you tow often, a gear in the 4. 10 range may be more acceptable. Or if you are running a tall tire, shorter rubber can help out as well.

The bottom line is it's not one size fits all. If you tow twice a year, I would put up with it. But a gear change will feel like a bunch of HP and will take the stress off the clutch, trans and engine.

And yes, gauges first!!!
