Rear End Hop

I think my rear leafs have gradually weakened and I get a fair bit of hop from axle wrap unless I ease real easy off the clutch.



I'm not so sure I want to go all-out for upper and lower traction bars.



Roadmaster working for this type of issue?

If your experiencing this on dry pavement without wheel spin, it's probably siezed up rear u-joints.

The Road masters worked good on mine up untill I broke them I have added a mini-pack on both my trucks now and it has eliminated any problem I had.

Yep; I'm familiar with u-joint issues. I've replaced them and it does this even with brand new u-joints.



Mini-pack = Extra leaf pack right? I don't want any lift though.

If you are still under warranty, take it to the dealer.

A spring shop can modify your spring pack to eliminate axle wrap or at least reduce it with out any lift.

Funny thing about those 351's. I couldn't get but 25,000 miles outta the factory joints. At around 70,000 miles the 351's started to shudder slightly ... ... ... ... a couple pumps 'o grease cured that ... ... ... ..... 140,000 on the clock and still haulin hosses

my springs on the r. r. are sagging about 1'' more than the left, you can feel it under a hard acceleration, the truck starts to pull all over the road in 3-5 gear, i am going to try the skyjacker spring packs, i just hope i dont lose ride quality like i have seen with a buddys super duty
