I just purchased a 2012 Ram 2500 SRW and it says it has a 11.50 rear axle. Now my question is, I have heard all trucks with the 11.50 rear axle have a 3.73 rear end, is this true? Then I read on here somewhere that all SRW 2500 Diesels come with a 3.43 rear end, so I am confused!!! Can somebody please set this straight for me?

For 2013+, all 2500 & SRW 3500's have 3.43. Not sure about 2012.

My 2013 has 3.43, & 11.5" antislip differential. I think only the Aisin gets the 11.8" diff?

Dodge/Ram - Chevy has used the AAM axles (American Axle & Mfg) for several years. 2013 + Rams only came equipped with 3:43 R&P from the factory. 2012 and older had the luxury of other ratios besides 3:43.*

Count the teeth on the ring and pinion gear and divide those numbers. That will determine your ratio.
