I've been thinking about this for a while, but just haven't put any effort toward it. I'd like to be able to flip on some extremely bright lights aimed at about the average driver's windshield height, maybe 10 to 15 feet behind the truck.
I like the lights I've seen mounted below the bumper, but for the serious tailgater, these would be mounted too low, having little or no effect.
I've been thinking the perfect place would be one of the following:
1) For those with no camper shell, mount the lights using some kind of bracket into the rear most stake holes. One on each side.
2) For those with a camper shell, even better. Mount it to the lift glass, on the inside so they're more difficult to steal, and out of the weather.
These lights would be mounted high enough, the tailgater could be ON your bumper and these lights would still get 'em.
Let'em get on my bumper, and especially if they flash their lights at me. I'd like to see their reaction when I turn on the multi-million candle power lights right in their eyes.

That'll learn 'em!

Anybody else have any good ideas? I especially need help with the mounting brackets in the stake holes. I don't want to drill any holes farther down the bed rails. Or re-invent any bracketry if it already exists.
Any and all ideas are welcome, for criticism (just kidding

Since everybody else listed their toys, I will too.
