Here are the general instructions for using the installer.
Observe all safety precautions, never attempt on a warm or hot engine.
Obtain Mopar 68005064AA freeze plugs or equivalent.
Clean Freeze plug hole as best you can without making it larger or scratching the sealing surface.
Stick plug to installer puck with a dab of silicone so you don't drop it while aligning and installing bolts. Bolts are M12x1. 75x30.
Determine how the coolant tube is mounted if you have an automatic. One year they have a bolt on the turbo side, another year they changed to a bolt on the driver side to the rear of the block. If you are lucky you can maneuver the tube back enough to clear the tool without taking the rubber hose loose. If not remove the hose clamp on one side and move the tube out of the way. The tube with the bolt on the turbo side has less clearance than the tube that is bolted on the driver side.
Apply Mopar Stud and Bearing Mount PN 4318032 or equivalent to the side of the new plug. Follow directions on the product you obtain for dry time. Align plug with hole in block and start the three bolts by hand. The bolt on the turbo side will only thread in a couple of turns because the threads are recessed slightly in the block. The other two bolts will thread in several turns farther by hand. Once you have the bolts finger tight and the installer parallel to the block use a wrench to alternately tighten all three bolts evenly until the tool bottoms on the block. You can either remove the tool or leave it in place to keep the plug from coming out.
Reinstall coolant tube bolt and hose if removed and top off coolant.
