Rear Lights

Anyone have aftermarket lights underneath their tailgate? I am thinking about putting three under the tailgate but am not sure what light to use. Any pics would help also. Here are the lights I had on my other Dodge

I just put a strip of red refeletive tape across the gap. Works great and was cheap.

I was told that a strip of lights (like on a superduty) under the tailgate wont work because the bottom of the tailgate would crush them when you open it. I didnt try this just what i was told
