Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) rear main seal - is this the right part?

Picked up a new rear main seal today as I'll be replacing the transmission this week and want to fix two things at once. The main seal I was given seems rather large (see pic). It is about 6" in diameter and has cummins p/n # 4089342 on it.



Can someone tell me if this is the right one before I take the truck apart? thanks!

Looks about right. I have a HO cummins block in my garage i will take a picture of it and email it to you to give you an idea...

remove the old seal. clean the surface of the crank up good. slide the seal & pilot tool on the crank. pull the pilot tool off and push the seal on & gently install till stops.
