I have moved the rear door striker inwards and the door still seams looser than the passenger side. Is the latch at the bottom of the quad door adjustable, Is the supposed to be a spring in the slider? The wind noise is driving me crazy! Thanks!

I think so but Im not sure. On mine both lower latches on the rear doors had loose screws and made a rattle. I tghtened them and al is well.

Along the same lines as this thread, my drivers quad door lower latch is not working. The latch it self is not latching. I don't know if I have a spring missing or what. The upper one works fine, but... ... ... ... . I've tried to make it latch with a screw driver (with door open) to figure out if I have a striker plate adjustment problem or not, but it's the latch. It doesn't stay latched. Just wondering if any of you have any advice on what to look for, spring, rod, etc.

Thank you in advance.

Just got s service manual and it shows a rod that attaches to the latch, do a search on the Quad door (if the rod was not in the latch, the door would not open) . The service manual shows two procedures to reinstall the lower latch new and used. I am opting to get a new latch to eliminate the "play" when the door is closed, all the attachment screws are tight and I already tried 5 locations for the lower striker with the same results.
