rear slider deal? help!

I'm putting a topper on my truck.
Mopar wants like $350- $519 for a rear slider. Does anyone have a line on where to get a resonable priced one. I was told by safelite that theirs doesn't fit like the factory ones.

Did you ask the folks that you are getting your shell from?The place I bought mine also did sliders for a reasonable price.

I asked them but they only do pop-in windows -not glue-in windows
they said I had to go to a glass company to that-do I have a pop in window or a glue in window?

I think you have a glue in window. Mine was leaking and the dealer told me I had a glue in window and that the glue must be cracked. I did a search on a power slider and the price on window only was, oh crap I forgot I will have to look it up again, but I do remember it being cheaper then OEM. When I find the company and cost I will post.

After quite a bit of shopping I found that
CRlawrance is the prefered maker of the aftermarket rear sliders. I found a shop that could do it and they do good work and
warrantee for leaks. $240.
I wasnt going to spend $500 for a MoPaR one and $1000 for the topper but after they did the install I saw another truck with a factory one and you can see the difference in quality. The factory slider has a 20" opening 2 part slider and CRLawrance has a single pane about 15". The factory also fits flush with the cab and the CRL sticks out about a half an inch. Also noticed a little extra noise.
You get what you pay for, in this case
it wont matter much as my topper has a boot and its so Burt(the dog) can hang. (he got too big for the cab) #ad

Check out Ebay. Do a search for Dodge Ram or Dodge truck. I saw 3 or 4 rear sliders there in the past couple of weeks. They were all clear glass though, not dark tinted like the factory glass.
