I have a 2000 3500 dually and the rear springs squeak. It makes no difference if there is a load (5th wheel) or the truck bed is empty. I asked the service writer about the issue and got that Alfred E Newman stare. Any ideas how to cure this issue?

Thanks,

Jeff

If you're sure it's the rear springs squeaking, jack up the rear end and let the axle droop until the tires barely lift off the ground. Then clean and lubricate the springs and spring pads before letting it back down.

depending on the miles and where you live it might be time to replace the bushings, just as well get the rearched at the same time, total cost about $100
