Rear sump 4bt's

do any of the bread/delivery trucks come with rear sump 4bt's?did any vehicles?

My Frito Lay step van 4BT has a rear sump.

My cpl 585 is a rear sump. I believe this is the most popular configuration.

ok. thanks alot. thats what will fit best in my ranger. i thought the most common was front sump. i thought wrong.

The three engines I saw when I picked mine out were all rear sump. I believe you can change a front sump to a rear sump by rotating the pan and buying the rear sump oil pickup if you have to. I'll look at my 4bt manual.

I dunno about the 4bts, but I know from 1st hand experience that you can do this with a 6! I cannot see the 4's being configured all that different.
