Has anyone experimented with adding leaves in place of the spacer on the '14 3500?

I actually DID add Firestone air bags but they lasted one trip. These in the link you's included are new to me and I think I will look into these in more detail.

I have those in my 06. They work well but you do have to keep at least 5psi in them or they can be damaged. I ran the lines to the wheel wells. If I were to do it again they'd go to the back by the license plate or I'd get one of the pump setups.

On my past three trucks, I had onboard air with the controller in the cab. I also ran lines to the back of the trucks right above the license plate as a backup.
