Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Rear suspension for sled pulling???

Hey guys I have a reg cab and am going to be pulling this spring and summer and just have 4 leafs on the leaf springs right now. I am looking for how many leafs to add and put top leafs on or bottom or even mess with putting more on, I am just looking for the best setup for a reg cab. I will be using blocks when possible but for all other pulls I am going to need something more than what is on there. Any help would be helpful. Thanks

It dependes on what else you want to use your truck for. I have the full spring package from the factory and then added air bags on top of that, helps alot but the truck still squats. Alot of the full blown trucks from EEP run about 8-10 leafs, don't quote me on that but they have a bunch. It will definitely help you depending on how much and how competitive you want to be. Dean
