I have the Air lift air bags on my 94 2500, very little squat and an improved ride, you just can't go wrong. I pull a 2004 American Star 5'er with this set up. The best price I found on them was Summit Racing.

Super Duty Air Lifts. Adjustable to any weight. Keeps you truck to factory heigth up to 5000#. I run about 65 psi with full load. They have been on for 6 years and not a problem so far. Just a big :D when you see others with the bumper dragging. :{ :-laf

Just installed my Ride Rites - 1-1/2 hours which included reading the instructions and following them to the letter.

No interference with the B&W or anything. Fit was perfect. No drilling.

I pull a 15K+ 5th wheel with 2800# of pin weight. To level it out,

I put riderites on my '05 4x4 DRW Dodge 1ton last week. (~50-60PSI) I also have a B&W 5th wheel companion hitch. The issue with my install was the lower brackets would not fit between the leaf stack u-bolts so I had to remove some of the metal on the brackets by grinding them down until they could be pressed in with a bit of force. Also, the upper bracket on the driver side does not fit flush since it contacts a welded bracket for the parking brake on the frame. I got the bolts started in this bracket and was able to squeeze the bracket in almost flush. I also installed the air compressor and control unit. I found a really neat install location for the compressor on the dodge. Just behind the driver side front bed area is a bracket which holds the bed up off the frame. This bracket has a channel in it the size of the air compressor. :)

I am making a bracket to fit in there with the existing holes so I dont drill into the bracket to mount the compressor since the fuel tank is RIGHT behind it.

Overall the airbags have been quite a pleasant suprize as they do what they are advertized to do VERY well and they improved the ride of the truck when empty with 5PSI in them.

One thing to remember with airbags: let the air OUT before you unhitch a 5th wheel if you have a lot of air in them. Your bedrails could contact the trailer if there is a lot of lift caused by pressure in the bags when the truck comes out from under the hitch.

I got my airbags from suspensionconnection.com and received good service.

Thought I would add my 2 pennies worth here. I have had the air bags on the last 3 trucks I have owned and have nothing but good things to say about them.

One of the save money tricks I discovered years ago was to get my air compressor from the junkyard. Any '80s vintage Cadillac has a nice 12 volt compressor for the air ride suspension. Most of them will pump up to 120 psi. The local U-Pull-it sells them for about $20. Another $20 worth of fittings from the local hardware store completes the setup.

All that being said, I pulled the air bags off back in January and installed a set of mini-packs from KORE. I finally got a chance to load them down good. A cord of wet fir firewood and it still felt like I could race all the way home! Simply amazing. Just one more suggestion for those of you still looking.
