Both of my rear sway bar links are shot at 42k. One has a HUGe amount of play. Does any one make a "performance" or good quality replacement. I have been toying with the idea of making a set With heim joints. i would welcome any thoughts.

TIA

Ted, Ive got the same problem and thoughts. I don't see any thing wrong with makeing them as you describe. I'd try to put a grease fitting in them though to extend their life. All this technology and they expexct a little rubber boot to keep them clean and dry. A 2 year old could have built something better out in the sand box. I really wonder how much the slop changes the truck characteristics? Cheers

yeah it is just my passenger side one that is REALLY bad. I have been brainstorming we will see what comes of it.

CumminsPower98you disconnected it already, can you tell me the size of the bolt?

I don't know the bolt size but I'm pretty sure it's metric. I was out on a rough road when I unhooked it and just used adjustable wrenches that I had with me. The interesting thing is that it's also my passenger side link that went bad.
