Ok, we followed the directions to install the new Mag-hytec cover. I noticed after I got home the truck looked higher in the back. The directions say to move the bar back till level then drill and replace bolts. Didn't pay a lot of attention till I pulled the 5x14 trailer and now I can tell the front of the trailer is up as I did have it level. I guess my question is,is it possible to raise the rear of the truck by sliding the sway bar back to allow for the spacer. I have a 2wd with 265-75R16 Michelins. Oh just for fun I measured 18 inches from the ground to the flat part of the hitch on the bottom of the reciever where the safety chains go. If someone wants to measure or comment on this I would be appreciative.

Okie, I have the same tires and mine measures riight at 18 to 18. 5 where the safety chains hook up.

You have to load the bed or load the front of trailer heavier to get that rear end down. Oo. Oo. :D

Okie: There is no way that a properly installed sway bar will change ride height. Check the sway bar mounts for binding.

This may be a matter of perception. Don't you find that any time you work on your truck, that afterwards it seems like the truck is bigger, badder, and faster? Even after just washing it, or doing a oil change?

Landshark, I agree with you. I measure two more today in a parking lot and mine was in the average. I also talked to the guy that did the work and he said I worry to much. Hooked on teh 5er for the trip to Kerrville and it was normal so I am ok about it now. Thanks for the comment's.
