I had a guy come and look at a Surburban that I have for sale that has a 2004 dodge quad cab long bed with a 6 inch lift and 35 inch tires. Really a nice truck. Anyways, on his lift kit he had some rear bars that came from the rear end about where the leaf spring is that came up toward the front of his truck about 3 feet long on both sides. he called them a wrap arm. He said that they put more torque to the ground as they dont allow the rear end to flex or move at all. He said I could probably gain 150 ft/lbs of torque at the rear wheel just by installing theses. Has anyone heard of these and do they work? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Prevents spring wrap. Under heavy loads and high torque, the springs will allow the rear end to rotate. Ladder bars prevent it from happening, but limit the suspension travel.
