... have a member broke down north of town that lost his duals. Cannot figure out how to get new rear wheel studs into hubs... . what is the secret??? Does the hub seperate from the rest of the assembly perhaps?

According to AAM for DRW with Disc Brakes???

Release the park brake.

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .

Remove the hub and rotor assembly. Refer to Rear Axle Hub, Bearing, Cup, and/or Seal Replacement .

Mark the relationship of the hub to the rotor.

Place the hub and rotor assembly on a hydraulic press.

Press the wheel studs out of the hub and rotor assembly.

make sure they gave you the right hubs and studs, I had the same problem and when I compared the old to the new I saw they were different.

I had my front studs shear off on my front axle (4x4) and had a hell of a time finding the right ones. there about $10 each and the dealers don't even stock'em

Got ol' George and Mr. P on the road again. Made one delivery here in town , now on his way to L. A. Job went pretty smooth once we saw how it was together. When the wheels came off, it kinda did a number on the hub , but we got all 8 new studs in , new lug nuts , and 2 new wheels. sag2, George thanks you, as do I , for the info you PM'ed me early this morning! Thanks ! Oh, and sag2, WTH is that stuff AAM uses on the bolts holding the hub and rotor together!!??#@$%!
