Just got a 2002 a few weeks ago... didn't come with the rear well liners like my 95 did. (??) Went to the dealer and bought a set; $89 a pair, complete with mounting hardware. .

The mounting kit includes only screws (not enough clips). . and the liners don't seem to fit. The holes don't line up, and the whole thing seems too small. Has anybody else had experience with these or may I have gotten Dakota liners my mistake?

BTW: This is on a 4WD LB QC...

either they forgot to install the liners or

add another deleted item to the list

All 4X4's have had the liners

Something stinks here

Just remember the disclaimer DC makes in it brochures: Prices and specification may change without prior notice, or however we see fit to pork ya.....

Now they can change anything or delete everything.

I looked a three 02's on a dealers lot. All were 4x4's and none of them had the rear wheel liner. Looks like another cost cutting measure.

I have a 2WD 2001. It didn't come with rear liners. I got mine through a friend that owns a body shop. I think they were something on the order of $17 each, might have been $27. Anyway, they went in easily and fit fine.

If they seem too small, they probably are. I have had mine out several times and each time I put them in it seems like they are too large and I wonder if I can get them in.

Thanks for the replies...

Thanks for all the replies... went back to my dealer, turns out they sold me the liners for the 2002 1500... not the 25/3500's. Arg.

Now if I can only find a 1/4" rivet tool I can install them!!!

You dont need to buy those expensive "plastic rivets" and that 20 dollar rivet tool. Just go to a local Ace Hardware and buy some of the plastic trim screws (the ones that have the flexible threads). I recently removed all my wheel liners to clean them (dealer sprayed some friggin undercoating over the BLACK plastic liners and i wanted to clean it all off). So i didnt want to spend $40 for a $20 tool and $20 worth of those plastic rivets, so i bought 50 of the plastic trim screws in the correct size for only $0. 20 a piece (total of $10).
