The rear window defroster is now an available option. Cost is just over $100, so it seems like a no-brainer option. However, I'm thinking of having the rear window tinted. I talked with an installer who said there'd probably be slight lines ("bubbles") along the wires. Also, I'm not sure what would happen if I had to remove the tinting in the future.
Does anybody have opinions of tinting over RW-D/F?
Is there really a need for the defrost? My old truck did not have (as most don't), and I don't remember really needing it, due to the vertical angle of the window.
Also, does anybody know where the switch would be located. My fear is they may "over-flow" into the cubby hole space (SLT).
Should I get it or not??? My truck's "ordered" (Oo. Oo. Oo. ), but the salesman's not releasing it to the system until Monday, so I have a few days to decide.
