It came a terd floater last night and my rear seat and floor are soaked. I've been noticing a smell for a year or so but thought I had stunk up the truck myself.
I see where it was running down in the corners of the back glass from the top. It's a fixed glass non slider.

Has as anybody had this problem? Thanks a lot. Andy.

My 2015 leaked and it puddled under the drivers side back seat. Dealer said the rubber formed onto the frame was not correct. They changed the back window problem gone.

Had a very bad leak in mine. It was the third tail light gasket. Dealer told me it's a problem with the gasket on the fourth gen trucks. Just a matter of time if you have not had the leak yet. Should have been a recall in my opinion since it has or will happen. Amazing HOW MUCH water could come in that area. The entire rear floor under the seat, down into the storage bins and into one of the in floor storage bins. They silicone the gasket for the fix. At least that's what they did for mine. Checked it when I got back and no leak.

My buddy's 2015 completely molded over in the backseat. Truck has been at dealer for 5 weeks. Neither dealer or Chrysler is helping out, and he has hired an attorney.

My 2013 ,well I did smash the roof. Had an issue with leaks. Rear window had to be re-sealed. 3rd break light seal replaced. Then after much issues the Pinch weld under the rubber strip on the roof was found bad on the Pass side. So far it's dry now if I could get the MOLD smell out....

Thanks for the info. Mines a 2015 crew cab. I take it in Tuesday so hopefully they have experience finding the leak and maybe get the moldy carpet out.

The design is terrible. I siliconed mine in the first week of ownership. The gasket degrades and does not seal well. If you look at the ribs on the roof the channel the water directly over the light and if the truck is nose up it could be quite a bit of water. Also the light does not contour the roof exactly. It pinches off towards the ends and gaps in the center. So if your gasket does work and gets clogged with dust the water actually pools up and draining gets pinched off. Or the water forces the gasket down and inward thereby funneling all the water into the cab.
I siliconed mine in place so if i need to remove it i just pull the silicone off. I did not remove it to silicone it. Silicone is not good with UV so i plan to redo it every year or so.

This has been a problem for well over 20 years!!! Had it happen to my 1995 RAM and again to my 2015. Many threads on this problem if you want to do a search. Amazing how Dodge/RAM can redesign the same well known problem into each generation of truck.

Picture is of the under rear seat storage well just a month after taking delivery of my new 2015 RAM.
