2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Rearend gears

I need to get a set for the 96.
4. 10's I was looking at Randy's R&P website and it said that the U. S Standard brand wasn't as quiet as the Dana R&P. Has anyone one heard the "noise" the U. S gears make?
I know our trucks are loud but sometimes a noise in the rearend can easily be heard inside the truck with the A/C on and windows rolled up.
Has anyone used another brand gear?? From Jegs or Summit???

The gear installation has a lot more to do with the noise than the brand.

Get the Yukon gears from Randy's R&P.



Cheap gears are generally loud and don't last as long as good quality gears. They are also often harder to get a decent pattern.
