Rearend oil was a little dark!

I went to the 4wd shop yesterday to count the splines on the axle to make sure we got the right locker for my truck. As he pulled the axle to count I noticed the oil was fairly dark. I know that does not really mean it is bad or need changing but I will be changing about every 25,000 or a tad sooner. It has had some good loads on it and the guy did say it is a good idea to keep the synthetic fluid. Truck has 22,000 miles. Will be getting my locker soon!

I only have 10k on mine and mostly empty but with a lot of freeway miles.
I plan on changing mine about the same time. what locker did you get ARB air? If I was to get one I might get that one.

I am going to get the loc-rite. It is made by powertrax. Good unit. The shop manager said it will hold the cummins and the 6spd and will do what I want. He put the same one in several trucks and has no problems so far. Of course I kinda wanted a Detroit but I did not want to change to a 4. 10 gear.
