ok.

so im currentlyon deployment, but when i get back i have a few plans. i want to purchase an 04. 5-06 2500/3500 ctd. my big question is if they come with a rear limited slip? i cant seem to find a definitiveyes or no. and second, what you would recommend as far as performance upgrades. ive been looking at a bully dog pmt, silverline 5" turbo-back exhaust, s&b intake, and a clutch. i also wanted to know what a good turbo would be and if injectors would be a good addition??? my plan is to make around 550hp. and lastly, does anyone know of a good engine/transmission shop aroung the tucson/phoenix, arizona area?? thanks.

The ls was an option. It all depends on the one you find. IMHO the version in the aam axle is junk. See my sig if you want upgrade suggestions :). Keep your head down.

Stock no spin rearend

Actually I have been all over baja in my truck in deep sand, baja moon dust and mud and like the stock posi very well. It has performed perfectly with no problems.

ok so if i get a truck without a ls, where can i go to get a good one from and whats a reasonable price? and i was looking around, but all i can find for the front 9. 25 is an arb air locker. does anyone sell e-lockers for the front axle??

In the west Phoenix area, you will find Fred Swanson. He is a DTT transmission installer with a great reputation. Spends a lot of time "dialing-in" the new trans before he ever lets you leave.

I was at his place, one time, and a couple from central CA was there having a new trans installed. I don't know how many DTT installers they passed on the way to Phoenix but, they thought it was worth the trip to get the job done right the first time.

BTW, i have no connections with Fred other than I have met him a few times & he has helped me with some problems with my truck.

Good luck & thank you for your service.

I know it was like a $50 option on my 06 and it has the bigger aam 11. 5 not a bad diff but id much rather have a dana.

if ya fall in love with a truck that doesnt have one, you can buy one for about $500.

options for the front are arb, eaton e-locker, or a factory p/w locker
