Just picked up a new '07 Mega and want to put on some 35" sneakers. AT's or a little bit more aggressive. Must be good in snow and ice. What is out there that is reasonably priced and will last a few miles?

Wait until March. Pro Comp will have their bi-annual buy 3 get 1 free sale.

I have the Extreme AT's on my wife's '03 Silverado in a 35". We have had them for about 6 months now and they have been great in snow and average in ice with very minimal wear. High treadlife and good ice performance just don't go hand in hand.

I Run 35" Bfg M/t's , I'll The Price At 2 Or 3 Shops Around Town , Then I See What I Can Get Them In The Magazines For Then I Call Town Fair Tire And Lie To Them And I Give Them A Price $ 25 - $ 50. 00 Lower Than Anyone Else Gave Me And I Ask Them If They Want To Match The Price And They Do Every Time, So I Always Get A Deal On Tires On All My Trucks And Cars , Try It ! :-laf

hummer h2 wheel conversions...

usually have bfgs. .

I see them new with the whels 4-600 on ebay... sometimes less if you can get them close to you. . of course shipping can be spendy

there is a writeup on here and a link to the conversion over at tow rig

i have really like my Pro Comp Xtreme ATs, i am getting to 30,000 with them and they are in good shape, that is with quite a few burnouts also. i think i will be going with the regular pro comp ATs next time due to the fact that they have a 50,000 mile treadlife warrantee. . i will never get 50 outta a tire so that has me almost convinced. i dont really care for how they look though. My Xtreme ATs look great and did really well in the snow and ice this year, i took them to the edge and buried the truck twice but i deserved it, i was impressed.

I agree with Nukeman. The procomp Extreme AT's are a great tire. They are reasonably priced, have a decent treadwear guarantee, perform well in the mud and snow as well as on the highway, and make very little noise.

I just bought my second set today!

what about the cooper st's? my buddy has had a set on his ford for the last year and a half and they have been good to him. he's not the kinda guy that rotates his tires either.

Going to get a set of Mastercraft A/T2 315/75s for around 7, when I get off work in the morning. Had two sets of Superswamper SSR 35x12. 5s that lasted 40K a set and one set of 35" BFG M/Ts that lasted 35K. I'll get another set of SSRs later in the year, just don't need them now. I would get them now but I can’t find them for less then $1200 local.

I’m putting the new tires on the factory wheels which have a set of 315 BFG A/Ts on them now, waste of money, felt like play-doe going down the road with no traction in snow. My . 02s

I have to agree with the ProComp guys, I love my AT's, not quit as good offroad as there MT's I had, but they are the cheapest I can find also, at least on 17" wheels. I have about 15K on my current set and they barely have any wear, might actually make 50K on this set! OK, maybe not..... :-laf

Oh yeah, if you get them w/ the buy 3 get 1 free they are about 800 shipped. Cheaper than alot of other brand name tires.

They wear well and have good traction.

Hey Greg do your tires rub the control arms under full lock? I like those Mastercrafts, and the way they look on your truck & stock wheels but don't want another tire that rubs the control arms again like my 315 BFG's did.

The tires do rub only slightly on Ken's truck during full lock-to-lock turns. I have another friend with some LT37x12. 50R17 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's on H2 wheels that don't rub though.
