I just got back from magnussens today (second time, won't be a 3rd!) and all I can say is, what a waste of time. I waded through their construction site for 5 minutes just to find a sales buzzard. Once I did, it took 10 minutes for him to drive me to the lot across the street where the trucks are. Once there I identified a truck I wanted to drive, and he insisted that the 04. 5 sitting next to it was the same thing and that's what I should drive. 10 minutes later he agrees to let me drive the '05. 10 Minutes later we're back on the main lot in the construction zone... no he doesn't pull up, run in the door, and grab a key... he spends 5 minutes parking the truck in a spot that's barely big enough and I know very well will take him another 5 minutes to get out of. He disappeared into the store while I waited in the blazing sun for 15 minutes... so after at least 45 minutes of wasted time (had to get back to work), I left. Supposedly, according to the big-wig looking manager/owner guy in the tie, he was their main "truck guy" that could tell me anything I ever wanted to know about a Dodge truck. Amazing that when I asked if he had any 05's with sunroofs on the lot yet, he said "sunroof? you're kidding, I didn't know they had those!" You mean to tell me the "expert" hasn't even looked at the options in the computer to see whats new? I also mentioned the lift pump had changed and he didn't even know there were 2 different kinds of fuel pumps in the truck. I guess I expect too much from sales people, but I wouldn't buy a truck there if it was the last place within 500 miles... sure maybe it was just one numbnut, but they should think about that before hiring someone like that to represent their company.
