Recently I posted that the current rebate on Dodge 2500s is $3000 according to what the dealer salesman told me and showed me on paper. Now I am getting close to buying and another salesman in another state is showing me that it is only $2500. Both of these figures are before any farm bureau rebates etc. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what the real rebate is? TIA...

rebate

hard to pin these guys down on rebates. one dealer told me it was 2500 or 0%, another 2000 plus 500 for farm bureau or 0%. An F&I guy told me the finance multiplier was . 02 per thousand financed whether you took the 0% or the 2500$!! What!!! 0% should be . 0166!

Well guys I just bought my new truck in Michigan and this is what I found, Some dealers only get the $3000. 00 for being a heavy truck dealer (or so I've been told) The dealer I purchased mine from went all the way to Penn. For a Silver SLT Plus with the H. O. and six speed, After rebates, employee discount and including the 7/70 bumper to bumper contract it set me back $31,465. 00 The truck is the first Dodge I've ever owened and I love it :--)

Wow, that is not bad at all! My 95 cost over $30,000 new.

Talked to the dealer today

And he said the rebates (for the NW region) were $2500 rebate and $500 dealer cash.

BUT, I got my 2003 flyer today, and the fine print on the back says that "Model Eligibility: Eligible models 2002/ 2003 Ram Pickup 2500/3500. " If thats true, should be another $500 off.

I think Dodge offers dealer cash to certain regions and not to others. I have some dealer documents in my hand that state there is no $500 dealer cash only the $2500 rebate. I'll end up getting the $2500 rebate plus the $500 Farm Bureau allowance. $3000 in assorted rebates sounds good but $3500 sounds even better. ;) Anyway, I'm supposed to pick up my truck Friday (Sept. 6). I am so excited. Are you about to pick yourself up one?

Bought new truck in July and got $2500 rebate, $500 farm bureau and $500 cash, $500 e bate, and there is till more a dealer can give. Get the invoice from Barry, he is usually hanging around the tow & haul forum. Then go to dealer and tell him,"Here is the invoice and I will buy truck $4000 under". Then watch them sweat!l
